Cosmetic surgery breakdown by ethnic group

Did you know…

According to demographic background, the most requested minimally invasive procedures are all the same. Botox leads the pack across the African-American, Asian-American, Causcasian, and Hispanic ethnic groups. Second is injectable fillers and chemical peels round out the top 3. The variance lies in most requested surgical procedures.

In African-Americans, liposuction is most requested, followed by nose-reshaping and breast reduction. Asian-Americans most request nose-reshaping, then eye-lid surgery and breast augmentation. In the Hispanic ethnic group, liposuction is the most requested, followed by breast augmentation and nose-reshaping.

The Caucasian demographic makes up 73% of all cosmetic procedures performed. Hispanics account for 10%, African-Americans 8%, Asian-Americans 7%, and all other ethnic groups combine for just 2%.
