515,000+ middle aged people, both men and women, underwent cosmetic surgical procedures in 2010. Their age group accounts for 33% of all the cosmetic surgical procedures last year, and that number is up 3% over 2009.

Thirty-Somethings make up 23% of all the cosmetic surgical procedures from 2010. At just over 361,000, that’s a 3% increase over this same age groups’ 2009 numbers. Surprisingly, calf augmentation saw the biggest increase over 2009 at 62%, while lip augmentation saw the biggest drop down 20% over their 2009 numbers.
