Butt Augmentation

How Do I Get a Bigger Butt?

butt augmentation“How do I get a bigger butt?” This is a common question among a number of women. With celebrities such as Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer Lopez sporting curvy bottoms, more and more women are paying attention to their own bodies.

In fact, long before J Lo showed off her curves and Sir Mix-a-Lot produced “Baby Got Back”, a supple, feminine backside has been a strong desire among women (and men) for thousands of years. History portrays shapely, well-rounded buttocks as signs of fertility, strong genetics and aesthetic appeal, according to a recent study.

If you look at your jeans and feel disappointed that you don’t have quite the curves to fill them out, you’re not alone. Fortunately, modern technology allows us to achieve the provocative curves that may have skipped over a few of us. This may be done through one of three methods:

Procedures:

Butt Augmentation - Butt augmentation, known as the Brazilian butt lift, is performed to enhance curves through fat injections. The fat is removed from places such as the waist, legs or arms and is injected through a small incision called an intergluteal incision, an inconspicuous vertical incision made between the buttocks. Since the body’s own fat is used to give the buttocks a shaplier look and feel, the body will not reject any foreign substances. The process usually takes about an hour and does not require any inpatient treatment.

Butt Implants - While butt augmentation has the advantage using the body’s own natural fat, some people do not have enough fat in their bodies to transplant. Therefore, the alternative may be butt implants, usually made of silicone. Some patients may be concerned with implants breaking, although this is an extremely rare occurrence.

Gluteoplasty - Gluteoplasty lifts the butt by tightening the patient’s skin in the hips and upper hamstring areas to give the buttocks a higher, tighter look. This procedure is ideal for those who have lost skin elasticity due to aging or extreme weight loss. While this procedure may help reduce the appearance of cellulite, gluteoplasty alone will not make the buttocks appear rounder. Therefore, gluteoplasty may be performed in conjunction with butt augmentation.

Associated Costs:

Butt lift surgery has been extremely popular for a long time, and demand for the surgery continues to rise. However, it may be financially out of reach for some people – a typical procedure can cost a pretty penny: between $15,000 and $20,000. Patients who undergo the procedure may also feel a lot of pain, as you won’t be able to properly sit down for the following two weeks.

Side Effects:

There are also possible side effects to be aware of. So if opting for surgery sounds like a plan to you, don’t run for the surgeon’s office just yet. You will need to weigh the pros and cons and have a good talk with your doctor before making a decision. We will go over these processes in more detail and explain their risks, so please stay tuned.
